Chris Bowman: Life is progress. I am not who I am yet.
Everyday is a growing and learning experience. I haven’t come into my own as an individual and being yet, but I’m well on my way. I feel like I’m living this life with one foot in the future, and the other strongly cemented in reality. Finding a compromise between the two is wonderful, but compromising your being and surrendering yourself to the mundane should not be an option. Whenever you ask me how I am doing, my answer is always “great”. I suppose I’m the kind of person who looks at the bigger picture. It doesn’t matter if I’m having a bad day, or if things aren’t going my way at the moment… At the end of the day, I know everything is going to be alright. I feel like some of my peers lose sight of this mentality, and whether or not this sounds tired, it’s what gets me through everyday with ease. Obstacles are my pleasure, and this pain helps to remind me that I am only human.
